Harvest Presbyterian Church – 2017 Vacation Bible School

Uncover the VBS Mystery:
The Case of the Disciples’ Discoveries

Harvest Presbyterian Church in Medina is offering kids from 4-years-old (as of 7/17) through 5th grade a fun-tastic opportunity to investigate God’s Word and discover what it means to be a follower of Jesus!

Join the Scottish Sleuths characters – Super Bible Sleuth Angus McTavish and Professor Dabney Thornwell – in this year’s “Bible case.”

Add fun music, chats, snacks, crafts, activities, and engaging, practical Bible stories, and we’ve got a hunch this may be one of the most memorable weeks of the summer.

No secret here: VBS runs July 17 – 21, 9 AM-Noon.

Remember: It’s Elementary, my dear…oh and pre-school, too!

We’ll have special sleuth classes for all our detectives, from 4-years-old (as of 7/17) through 5th grade completed.

Fabulous Find: On Friday, parents are invited to join us at 11:30 AM to see what we’ve been doing all week and stay for a pizza party following the Closing Rally.

Perplexed? Just Register online at by clicking here or complete the registration form, then mail it to: Harvest PCA, 1095 E. Reagan Parkway, Medina, OH 44256. You can also drop the registration off at the church office (open Tues – Fri, from 9 AM to noon). For more information, email VBSregistration@harvestpca.com.

Please register TODAY! See you there!

A Key Clue: All detectives should wear shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes (no flip-flops or spikes). If chilly, please include sweatshirt. All rec and snack times will outside, weather permitting.

There’s no catch: This VBS is happily provided at no cost. Please note that we will be collecting financial donations for a special charity.

Ugandan Kids Choir in Concert
Wednesday, August 23 @ 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Free Concert with Opportunity to Donate to Choir

The children in the Ugandan Kids Choir bring a message of hope—sharing the power of God’s love through traditional music and dance. As they tour the US, they delight audiences with their high-energy performances and infectious joy.

Each choir is made up of 10 sponsored children who come from the poorest parts of Uganda. The children are chosen for their enthusiasm, ability, and dedication—all of which make them potential leaders when they return to their communities.

They are eager to perform for you, and provide you an opportunity to help poor children around the world, put an end to poverty, hunger and corruption.

The Harvest Garden

Each Spring, we turn over the ground of our community garden and participate in the renewing process of caring for our neighbors as we tend God’s earth.
Friends of Harvest are encouraged to help plant, weed, tend, and harvest the vegetables that are grown. We then donate this fresh produce to community food pantries.
A wonderful opportunity to get your hands dirty! Adults, teens, families are encouraged to dig in, and grow together!
