Your kids are invited to Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is much more than that.

At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ important question to His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.

Each day will include a new Bible lesson, craft, activity, music, story, snack, discussion, and discovery.

Our Tuesday morning Women’s Bible Study will resume on January 13, 2026 from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM. We will be
studying the book of Romans using Courtney Doctor’s nine week study, In View of God’s Mercies.
This study walks us through Paul’s letter to see the glorious grace and transforming work of the
gospel. We’ll explore the good news of God’s merciful rescue as we better understand the depth
of our need.
The cost of each book will be $10. We will pre-order the books to pass out at the first meeting.
Please sign up by December 29 to reserve your book at this discounted price. We hope you will
plan to join us for this new study!

Overview
Romans is a passionate letter written by Paul, a man completely captured by the beauty, mercy, and majesty of God and His glorious salvation. Paul wanted his readers, then and now, to know how amazing and all-encompassing this salvation actually is—that it’s powerful, planned, eternal, free, and leads to a transformed life.
In this 9-session study, walk through the book of Romans to discover that salvation doesn’t just change your eternal future; it changes your present reality. Because of God’s salvation, hope, peace, life, faith, trust, and endurance are yours.
Learn that after God saves you, He invites you to join Him on His two-fold mission— to sanctify and transform you into the image of Jesus and to send you out into the world to share the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Women’s Ministry News: Women’s Evening Bible Study begins January 13

Women’s Evening Bible Study will resume Tuesday, January 13th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the church.  We will be utilizing the video series and book “Jesus and Women” by Kristi McLelland.  This book has 7 sessions, which will be a 14-week study due to the length of the videos. If you would like a book (cost $15), you may sign up at the Women’s Ministry bulletin board or contact Stephanie Seifert. All women are welcome!

“Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.”

Adult Class

The Adult class will be digging into the Westminster Shorter Catechism, using a book with that title by G.I. Williamson. A book will be provided for each family to share. Sunday School classes for all ages begin September 14 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM following worship.

The Youth Sunday School class is studying through the book “Daily Doctrine” by Kevin DeYoung.

“All thoughtful Christians want to better understand the Bible, its author, and its influence on their beliefs. In short—whether they recognize it or not—they want to understand theology.” This book is designed to make systematic theology clear and accessible for every Christian (of every age). Questions about the Youth class? Speak with Pastor Brett!
