Worship Together this Easter Sunday, April 20

*Morning Worship at Harvest: 9:30 AM (Facebook/YouTube)
*No Sunday School classes this week.

Worship Notes:

Worship Choir: “Rise My Soul, the Lord Is Risen”

Sermon: Reverend Seth Young – John 15:6-11

If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.

John 15:6-11

Special Harvest Reminders:

Sharing Life at HarvestUpcoming Events at HPC

Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Join us for Good Friday Tenebrae service this evening at 7:30 PM.
The service, Light Into Darkness, is based on the Scripture passages surrounding the deeply significant “I Am” statements of Christ recorded by the apostle John, as well as his descriptions leading us through the events that begin in the Upper Room and end at the sealed tomb. The story readings are from the perspective of the twelve disciples on the first Good Friday night.

May Fellowship Potluck Lunch
All are invited to the next Fellowship Potluck Lunch on Sunday, May 4 following morning worship. (There are no Sunday School classes on our bi-monthly Fellowship Lunch Sundays.) Please bring a dish to share, if you are able, for this time of refreshment together. Main dishes, sides and desserts are all welcome!

Magnified! VBS Week is July 14-18
Our 2025 summer VBS theme will be “Magnified”, based on Psalm 34:3, “Proclaim the Lord’s greatness with me; let us exalt His name together!”
VBS registration is open now, for children age 4 through Grade 5 (completed).  Please share the link with friends and neighbors.
There are many different ways you can help with VBS. If you have not yet signed up to help but would like to know more, please speak with Becky Sherrill.  (If you’ve already committed to helping but did not yet update your annual volunteer form, you can do so here.)

Save the Date: Women’s Ministry Fall 1-Day Retreat
