Sermon Series: Standing in Grace
Sermon: Rev. Seth Young – 1 Peter 3:8-12
Suffering for Righteousness’ Sake
8 Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. 9 Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. 10 For
“Whoever desires to love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit;
11 let him turn away from evil and do good;
let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

Women’s Evening Bible Study: Psalms
Women’s Evening Bible Study looks forward to hosting you and a friend as we study the book of Psalms together! The study will begin Tuesday, September 29 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM, meeting weekly at Harvest. We plan to use the “At His Feet” study book, simply titled “Psalms”. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to Stephanie Seifert by September 22nd as books need to be ordered. Payment for books ($9.00 each) can be made to Stephanie via Venmo, cash, or check on the first day of the study.
Hope to see you there as we lean into the book that guides us when seeking peace in chaos, a language for our grief, or a way to celebrate victory.

The Harvest Worship Choir will begin rehearsals Wednesday, September 23, from 7:30-8:45 PM. If God has given you a love for singing and a voice to praise Him, we hope you will plan to be a part of Worship Choir this year! Worship Choir is open to High School students and adults. Questions? Beholding Christ:
“Over the course of ninety minutes of teaching interspersed with corporate singing, Bible teacher Nancy Guthrie will show how the whole of the Bible’s story drives toward the day when we will see Christ face-to-face, and how we can behold him now “as through a mirror dimly” (1 Cor. 13:12) as we gaze upon his beauty day-by-day in his word.”
HPC Small Groups
At Harvest, we rejoice that God is sovereign and faithful to His word, and we are thankful that His faithfulness enables us to grow as disciples and equips us to strengthen one another in our relationship with Him with and each other. One of the ways that we respond to His faithfulness is by having our faith strengthened through the study of His word. To this end, Harvest offers Small Groups to encourage life together and deepen our relationship with the Lord through Bible study and community connection.
If you would like to know more about HPC Small Groups, please sign up at the Connection Center as new groups are forming!
