Who is this Weekend designed for?

We could just say: Women who need Jesus. That’s all of us!

But more specifically, this weekend will address one of the deepest questions we each face: Where do I get my sense of value and dignity?

That’s a question we wrestle with whether we are women in HS, in college, at home with kids, in the workplace, in retirement, and yes, even in the church. There are so many ways in which we get our sense of ourselves from our abilities, our relationships, our appearance, our paycheck…or our lack of any of these.

What does God say about who you are?
What difference does Jesus make?
How can you build your life on THAT reality?

Rachel will address these questions, based firmly on Scripture and illustrated with examples from her own life.
If these are your questions, this weekend is for you.

Grab a girlfriend, or a group, or come alone (and meet some new friends).
However you can, join us!

Just confirming: What age is this event appropriate for?

As a gospel-centered women’s seminar focusing on our identity-in-Christ, Slowly Unraveled is appropriate for all women of all ages, from High School through Life-Long-Learner!

What does it mean to be Unraveled?

To be unraveled is to be undone, to untangle your identity and the layers of lies that permeate your story so that you can clearly see the truth. Being made new requires an unraveling, as the stories from your past are transformed and the new threads are tightly tied to the gospel.

Join Rachel Craddock as she boldly shares with us how God has been slowly unraveling her story. Her mother’s death, her struggle with perfectionism, and her role as a pastor’s wife have unraveled her, revealing her need for Christ and a desire to see every thread of who she is in light of the gospel.

Who is Rachel Craddock?

Rachel, a writer and speaker, is an “Ohio gal” who serves as our Regional Advisor of Women’s Ministry (Mid-America) for the PCA. She desires to encourage women in a relatable way to practically apply the gospel to their daily lives and have a relationship with the God who unravels the old to make us new in the redemptive blood of Jesus. Rachel, her husband Michael, and their four children live in Mason, Ohio, near Cincinnati.

Rachel’s first book Slowly Unraveled (CDM 2019), is the theme of our seminar.
She recently was a contributor to Hinged: Vitally Connected to Christ and His Church, an Ephesians Bible Study (December 2019), and is a regular contributor to the enCourage Blog.
Her next project will be co-authored with her husband—His Name is Great (CDM, 2022) will be a twelve-week study on the names of God, with a complementary Children’s Book.

Should I read Rachel’s Slowly Unraveled book prior to the Seminar?

We asked Rachel that question! While you certainly can read it prior, she says that attending the Seminar first may help prepare you to dig deeper in the material afterward.

You can choose to pre-order her book when you register, and we’ll have it for you at the Seminar.

Book Table:
Rachel’s “Top Ten” recommended books, tying into the seminar, will be available for purchase at the event. We’re able to accept payment by check or cash. If additional options become available, we’ll let you know!
